Bob Woody is just such a person.
Robert (Bob) Woody became an ordained non-denominational Wedding Officiant in 2001 after retiring from his career as a National Park Ranger. He and his wife of 20 years, Bebe, are now Proprietors of The White Doe Inn Bed and Breakfast on Roanoke Island which hosts many small weddings. Bob performs wedding ceremonies all along the Outer Banks including the Manteo Waterfront to the beaches from Corolla to Hatteras.
